American Roads Allows Cash Tolls to go Cashless

American Roads has released its newest application to their Alabama Freedom Pass® suite of mobile pay options. The application is directed to local industry (hospitality, dining, special events venues, retail), and allows customers to pre-purchase tolls ranging from a single trip to weeks of unlimited use by logging onto a web site and providing a valid credit card and cell phone number.

The application works on traditional cell phones as well as smart phones and is unique in that it offers can offer special toll rate packages and it activates with the first use; customers can actually use the app before reaching their destination.

The system accommodates custom design of marketing efforts based on customer usage data captured by the application.
